A MENU OF CHOICES

Although we hear it often, one size truly does not fit all. We feel it's vital to offer our clients a wide range of healing modalities so that a customized treatment plan can be formulated to fit the unique needs and circumstances of the individual. Dr. Felch is always adding to his portfolio of services and strengthening existing protocols through classes and seminars, assuring that the treatment you receive is the very best that it can be.

Below you'll find more information on some of the techniques Dr. Felch uses to restore your body to a state of health and balance.

Techniques Utilized

Applied Kinesiology (AK) is a system that evaluates structural, chemical, and mental aspects of health using manual muscle testing combined with other standard methods of diagnosis. AK, a non-invasive system of evaluating body function that is unique in the healing arts, has become a dynamic movement in health care in its relatively short existence.

The combined terms "applied" and "kinesiology" describe the basis of this system, which is the use of manual muscle testing to evaluate body function through the dynamics of the musculoskeletal system.

Treatments may involve specific joint manipulation or mobilization, various myofascial therapies, cranial techniques, meridian and acupuncture skills, clinical nutrition, dietary management, counseling skills, evaluating environmental irritants, and various reflex procedures. Dr. Felch has had over 300 hours of post-graduate training in AK and continues to regularly attend seminars to stay on top of the latest developments in the field.

Active Release Techniques (ART) is a patented, state-of-the-art soft tissue system that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, and nerves. Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow are just a few of the many conditions that can be resolved quickly and permanently with ART. Dr. Felch is certified in all three levels of ART (spine, upper extremity, and lower extremity) and recertifies these credentials yearly.

Nutrition is a key part of Dr. Felch's practice. Using tools such as the acousticardiograph, salivary testing, blood chemistries, stool analysis, and other diagnostic modalities, Dr. Felch designs nutrition programs unique to each patient. Liver detoxification, intestinal dysbiosis, and adrenal fatigue are just a few examples of syndromes that can be effectively and naturally managed through the use of nutrition.

Computerized Posturography (CAPS) is a unique assessment technique used to objectively quantify and differentiate among the wide variety of possible sensory, motor, and central adaptive impairments to balance control. This technology is available in our office and is a free service to anyone in the community wishing to determine if they have balance impairment.

Physical Therapy Modalities The clinic also offers a variety of physiotherapy modalities such as interferential therapy, Russian stimulation, lumbar traction, percussion, and cold laser therapy.

A Balanced Body is the First Step Towards Balanced Living
The focus of Dr. Felch's treatment is on balancing the body. Each treatment seeks to balance the emotional/mental, structural, and chemical/nutritional aspects of each individual. This creates optimal function, optimal health, and ultimately makes life a joy to live. He rejects the myth that the elderly should live with pain simply because they are advanced in age, or that the young, adults, and children should have to endure a life plagued by allergies and prescription drugs. His goal is to educate and motivate his patients into a new way of thinking about their health.
